A Semester at Sea
Meet the students who sail round the world in the pursuit of knowledge – and a degree
Meet the 600 South African students who get to sail round the world as part of their university studies. The Semester At Sea Programme is a three-month-long voyage, which counts towards the students’ final degree. We hop on board to find out what it’s like to swap the classroom for a cabin.
Also on the show, 24-year-old news reporter, Eva Simpson, reveals that being a journalist isn't always as glamorous as it seems; and we look at the reasons why the number of young women committing suicide in Britain is higher among South Asian women than any other ethnic group.
