Frederick Delius was an extraordinarily versatile composer, equally at home with orchestral, instrumental and chamber works as with choral works and songs. There have been many biographies and articles about the life of the composer but up until now there has never been a book which combines biography and musical analysis. In 鈥淒elius and his Music鈥� Martin Lee-Browne and Paul Guinery cover his entire output from his earliest compositions and 鈥渢rifles鈥� to the mighty, ninety minute 鈥淎 Mass for Life鈥�. Petroc talks to the authors and reviews the book with Daniel Grimley, Professor of Music at Oxford University.
