In praise of Bakelite
Much loved from the 1920s to the 1950s, Bakelite is one of the best known vintage plastics.
In the village of Williton, in Somerset, the small Bakelite Museum houses an enormous collection dedicated solely to objects made from this much loved material.
Two listeners, Rosalind Edwards and Geoff Stow, explain their nomination for our series in praise of small museums.
