The son of the owners of Poplar Farmhouse at Oakley has told how quickly the fire took hold at his childhood home.
Richard Hitchman was speaking to 大象传媒 Look East reporter Nikki Fox outside the home he grew up in. His parents had bought it back in the 1970s.
He said it would take some time for the news to sink in, as "you tend to take things for granted".
