Listeners accuse the World Service of trying to be CNN with its blanket coverage of war
A return to normal programming after blanket news coverage of the Iraq War which, according to the amount of correspondence with Write On, annoyed listeners enormously. One says, 'even during World War Two the 大象传媒 broadcast more than news'. Phil Harding, Director of World Service English Networks, justifies the decision to have 24 hour coverage of the war.
