Beijing Olympics are providing a unique opportunity to investigate 'brown cloud' pollution

The Chinese government has shut down factories and reduced car numbers to improve air quality for the Beijing Olympics – which is allowing exciting new research into "brown cloud" air pollution and global warming by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography.
