A 26-year-old England international has been forced to retire suddenly due to a serious heart condition.

James Taylor played Test cricket for England as recently as January this year and was all set to be called up again for the next Test series against Sri Lanka.

But doctors have found that he's suffering from the same ARVC condition that almost killed the former Premier League footballer Fabrice Muamba during an FA Cup match in 2012.

Thankfully Muamba made a full recovery, but like James Taylor he had to retire from professional sport.

Professor Sanjay Sharma, a cardiology expert, says there are dozens of sportsmen and women out there who have this heart condition and don't know about it:
