Identity Debate: Who Are We?
What makes us who we are? How does place, race, gender, sexuality, faith and other people鈥檚 view of us all affect our identity?
As part of the Identity Season, Razia Iqbal presents a 大象传媒 World Service debate in London, asking how do we as individuals form our identity. What makes us who we are? How do place, race, gender, sexuality and faith affect our identity? And does it still make sense to still talk about single or national identities in a globalised world? Joining Razia will be Yuwen Wu from 大象传媒 Chinese, Nick Ericsson from 大象传媒 Africa, Ali Hamedani from 大象传媒 Persian, plus English singer/songwriter Billy Bragg and the Irish-Nigerian blogger and academic Emma Dabiri.
