Over 2,000 people were interviewed before 大象传媒 cameras entered 50 homes to assess our perceptions of 'good' and 'bad' taste in everything from cuddly toys to duvet covers. Series producer and director Nicholas Barker said that the series "is a public apology to my wife. Like most of the men in this film, I suffer from the incurable affliction of always wanting to have my own way when it comes to matters of taste." (1992)
