The Frogman of India
Sath Biju is known as the Frogman of India. The amphibian biologist has spent over thirty years studying Indian frogs and has unearthed ninety previously undiscovered species. Sath began his career as a plant scientist - a job which took him to the jungles of the Western Ghats, where he fell in love with frogs and changed the direction of his career. In 2003 Sath discovered the unique Indian Purple Frog, which he describes as his most profound discovery.
