Space Seeds
When you were at school, technology didn't get much more exciting than a bunsen burner did it?
But for a group of pupils in Leicestershire - parts of their science lessons are literally out of this world. The children at Thrussington Primary School have embarked on a voyage of discovery by growing seeds that have been into space. Last year, two kilos of rocket seeds were flown to the international space station where they spent several months in microgravity. Now they're back on earth and a packet has been sent to Thrussington for children to plant and observe.
