7,000 weapons handed to police
Almost 7,000 weapons have been handed in to Essex Police as part of a knife amnesty launched 16 months ago.
They have been collected in amnesty bins in Clacton, Colchester, Chelmsford, Braintree and Basildon.
As well as knives, other weapons handed in include a BB gun and a pellet gun.
Toni Knight, from charity Only Cowards Carry, shows us some of the items recovered.
