Asian advice centre tackles cultural issues
What is thought to be the first Asian advice centre celebrates its 50th anniversary. The Pakistani Resource Centre in Manchster has changed a lot since its inception is 1966. It was set up to cater for men from the Indian subcontinent who had left their families behind, spoke little English, and had no support. They now provide mental health and domestic violence services for BME communities, and have kept going despite cuts to funding. Asian Network's Rahila Bano reports
