Bazentin Wood - Part 1
Now last week you might have heard Ben reporting from the Western Front in France.
It's one hundred years ago this July that the Battle of The Somme began, which was one of the bloodiest battles ever undertaken anywhere.
It saw over a million men killed or injured.
The first time the Leicester Tigers Regiment took part was in a battle to take the strategically important Bazentin Wood. Many thought they didn't have a chance, but they fought with extraordinary bravery.
The regiment historian, Richard Lane, told Ben they story as they travelled to the spot where they saw action, in the early hours of July 14th 1916.
