Are menopausal women getting the right care?
A survey by the British Menopause Society suggests half of women will go through the menopause without seeing a single medical professional. So why do so many women suffer in silence? Presenter Joanna Gosling spoke to Julie Chandler, who went through a surgical menopause at an early age, Jayne Harrison, who is going through the menopause, and Dr Heather Currie, a gynaecologist and also Chair of The British Menopause Society.
