I challenged traditional beliefs about albinism in Cameroon
Journalist and Outlook Inspirations nominee St茅phane Ebongue was forced to leave his native Cameroon when a volcano erupted. There is a traditional belief that only the blood of an albino can appease the volcano, and St茅phane feared for his life. But he returned to his homeland and decided to confront a witchdoctor and challenge him about the practice of using of albino body parts in "magic" potions.
