EU referendum: war of words over Turkish membership
David Cameron has accused a Conservative frontbench colleague of making misleading claims about Turkey's future in the European Union.
Mr Cameron said the armed forces minister, Penny Mordaunt, was ''absolutely wrong'' to say Britain could not block Ankara joining the EU; he said it called into question the Leave campaign's judgement.
Ms Mordaunt has accused the Remain campaign of a ''constant stream of hysteria''.
