A new exhibition in Brooklyn is highlighting African culture in science fiction. While Africans have been depicted in some works of sci-fi, it is less the case that they are the creators. But this is something that might be changing. Will there be a time when Africans are creating the imagined futures as prolifically too? Is now the time for African science fiction?
