Miniature steam engines

Hidden in a corner of Exhibition Park is the Town Moor's model train club.

The Tyneside Society of Model and Experimental Engineers - or TSMEE - runs miniature steam trains on tiny tracks.

You can hop on and go for a ride and, in winter, there are Santa Specials for the children.
