A row is brewing on a busy street in Leicester over the latest set of roadworks due to get underway this morning. More than a million pound is being invested by Leicester City Council on changes to Belvoir Street which include widening pavements, enhancing cycle lanes and - perhaps most controversially - banning cars from parking there.
Controversial plans to expand what is already Europe's largest distribution park are being thrown into question by a Medieval Village. Planning permission was given in January for plans to extend Magna Park at Lutterworth by a further 24 acres, despite strong opposition.
