'Go on Ady, put your CV in'
Football journalist Louis Massarella puts a potentially popular name in the ring for the new Reading manager. The former Reading youth product gives his views on Brian McDermott's sacking, and the current state of the club.
"If you think about the bigger picture Reading are in a much better position that they were. But fans want to know what's happened now."
"I don't know what they were expecting from McDermott. When he took over we were unlikely to go down, or knock on the play-offs door.
"Now we've got to look ahead with someone who has no time to get his house in order. It smacks of owners who don't know football."
"I don't know whether managers will look at it and think 'I don't know if I'll be here in a few months time."
