We paid tribute to two Lancashire men who were among the first Asians to settle in Blackburn.
The late Abdul Hamid Piracha and the late Mudassir Khan first came to Blackburn in the fifties to work in the mills. Abdul was recognised by the Prime minister for his community work. Mudassir wrote a book "Still Here" about his experiences in Lancashire.
