The comedian and former political adviser, Matt Forde, has said being influenced by the views of celebrities in the EU referendum was "a tragic way to reach a conclusion."

Speaking to presenter Martha Kearney on The World at One, he poked fun at the news that David Beckham was urging people to vote Remain, and said he hoped celebrities entering the debate wouldn't make any difference.
