Paul couldn't resist talking about the weather to an assortment of people he met there - including the Blacksmith restoring a weather vane at the Peace Hall in Halifax, a sheap- shearing expert, a cloud-loving artist - and Sir Geoffrey Boycott - who described some particularly unpleasant conditions, during a cricket match in Australia.
