A New Prime Minister for the UK
Global business news, with live guests and contributions from Asia and the USA.
It's all change at the top of the world's fifth-biggest economy. Several hours ago, the British Prime Minister was David Cameron. But he's now out of the job - after losing the referendum on Brexit - and Teresa May has the top post in British politics - after an audience with the Queen.
Google is banning adverts for so-called payday lenders. These are companies which offer short-term loans, normally of quite small amounts of money, at eye-wateringly high interest rates. These are often above a thousand percent APR - which means if you didn't pay the money back within a year, the amount of money you owe would multiply by ten-fold.
The Olympics in Rio are less than a month away and concerns about Zika continue to overshadow the games. The golfer Rory McIlroy withdrew from the Olympics last month blaming fears about Zika. Three other top golfers have also withdrawn. The World Health Organisation advice is that RIo should be safe for travellers other than pregnant women or those trying to conceive.
We speak to Roland Rudd of Finsbury Group, who acted as Treasurer to the Remain campaign in the run-up to Britain's EU referendum.
But even his experience as one of the leading PR men in Britain couldn't keep David Cameron in Downing Street.
And we are joined live throughout the programme by Elmira Bayrasli, an author on entrepreneurship in New York, and Simon Littlewood, President of the Asia Now consulting group in Singapore.
