Young at Heart Champions
Grand Slam winner Mary Pierce on why modern champions like the Williams sisters and Roger Federer can still compete at the top of tennis.
Serena Williams is 34 and trying to claim her 22nd Grand Slam singles title to equal the record of Steffi Graf. Former Wimbledon champion Bjorn Bjorg retired when he was 26.
Pierce speaks to Today at Wimbledon's Paddy O'Connell about being at the peak of her career in her 30s. The Frenchwoman also details how 'limiting the level and number of tournaments' for 14-18 year old players has reduced player burnout.
