The World Goes Round and remembering Marni Nixon (31/07/2016)
Neil meets the cast of The World Goes Round at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough.
Neil meets the cast of the 25th anniversary production The World Goes Round at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough. It's a musical revue which celebrates the songwriting partnership of John Kander and Fred Ebb, who composed the songs for musicals including Cabaret and Chicago. And we celebrate the life of legendary 'ghost singer' Marni Nixon, who provided the singing voice for some of Hollywood's most famous leading ladies, from Marilyn Monroe to Audrey Hepburn, in the great film musicals of the 1950s and 60s.
