Paul Mason: New Labour members are not 'Trots'
Journalist and Jeremy Corbyn supporter Paul Mason says the newly-joined Labour members are young people "for whom the new kind of politics means doing it yourself, on a small scale, in a non-hierachical way".
Speaking to Mark Mardell on the World at One, Mr Mason argued that Jeremy Corbyn was the right leader for the Labour party because ordinary people don't care about the "theatre of Prime Minister's Questions" but instead ask "who stands up for me?"
And he said there were only about 1,500 Trotskyites in the country.
