Cancelled Manchester derby in China a 'huge embarrasment'
Former Manchester City defender Danny Mills labels the cancelled pre-season Manchester derby a "huge embarrassment".
The match was called off after heavy rain in the Chinese capital.
Mills went on to say: "It's an unnecessary trip, neither manager will have wanted the game or the travel".
The Bird's Nest stadium pitch had been described as "bad" by United boss Jose Mourinho, while City's Pep Guardiola said he hoped there would be no injuries.
The first meeting of the respective managers in a Manchester derby since taking charge will now take place on 10 September in the Premier League.
