French senator: 'Failure' in church attack
An elderly priest has been killed by two armed men who took a group of people hostage during mass in a Normandy church.
Nathalie Goulet is a French senator from the centre-right Union of Democrats and Independents, and president of an inquiry into the fight against jihadist networks in France and Europe.
Speaking to Martha Kearney on the World at One, Ms Goulet said France's future government is heading towards a "National Front".
