Kirsty Blackman MP: I was 'more distracted' by children at work
Is it ever okay to bring your kids to work?
Kirsty Blackman, an MP representing Aberdeen North for the SNP, has been told off by the authorities at Westminster for bringing her two young children to a committee hearing.
Kirsty said she had no choice but to bring her children to work due to an "overlap" between Scottish summer holidays and Parliament recess.
She admitted that she was "probably more distracted" than usual but that it was a "one off".
