Legendary conductor Bernard Haitink at the Proms
The great conductor Bernard Haitink marks the 50th anniversary year of his first appearance at the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall with Mahler's 3rd symphony. One of the most powerful and expansive musical visions of nature ever created, this is Mahler's personal hymn to the natural world. Dan Damon hears Bernard Haitink talk about this unique and very British institution.
