Hinkley Point 'likely to go ahead'
Former energy secretary Lord Barker says that on balance Hinkley Point is "likely to go ahead" if the numbers can be reconciled, but that at this late stage it would be "pretty difficult" to renegotiate the contract.
The former energy secretary argues the delay would not damage business confidence, but demonstrated that "this is a government with a tight grip on the agenda".
