Nino Schurter of Switzerland is the one to watch, having won four out of the last five world championships. Two-time Olympic champion Julien Absalon should also be in the mix for a medal as will Jaroslav Kulhavy of the Czech Republic who won at London 2012 and took silver behind Schurter at the at the 2016 World Championship.
British interest comes from Grant Ferguson, an Under-23 World Championship bronze medallist.
