The umpire with the bullet-proof shield
Umpire Bruce Oxenford explains how and why he started using his shield - and hopes it can prevent injury or even death to his fellow officials.
He says: "One of my colleagues got a very serious injury, got hit in the back of the head 鈥� almost in exactly the same spot that Phillip Hughes got hit. And he (my colleague) ended up with a very serious concussion. It got me thinking that we really do need to start protecting ourselves."
