Scarratt: 'If we've inspired girls back home, we've done our job'
Team GB's hopes of an Olympic bronze medal in the rugby sevens were ended after a 33-10 defeat to Canada.
Great Britain captain Emily Scarratt admitted her side were second best:
"We were beaten by a team that executed better than we did."
"The support we've had from back home has been amazing," said the 26-year-old.
"To give rugby, and women's rugby especially, this exposure is awesome and if we've inspired one or two girls back home then we've done our job. Hopefully they can be playing in eight or 12 years time and bring home a gold."
