Wenger’s lack of signings is ‘poor management’ - Cross
Arsenal’s lack of pre-season transfer business is ‘poor planning and poor management’ by Arsene Wenger, according to journalist John Cross.
Arsenal have only signed three senior players in defender Rob Holding, midfielder Granit Xhaka and striker Takuma Asano, with the squad being hit by injuries in pre-season.
“Look at the benefit when Chelsea last won the title, Jose Mourinho did his business early,” Cross said.
“Look at what Manchester United did this summer, they’ve hit the ground running because they good signings early.
“I think it is a failing of Arsene Wenger and I do think it is poor planning and poor management, but I wonder if he’s getting enough support,” he added.
