Driverless taxis have taken to the roads in Singapore for the first time.

The company behind the trial, nuTonomy, says the plan is to expand it to a fully self-driving taxi fleet in Singapore by 2018.

Edward Tiong was one of the first people randomly selected to ride in one of the taxis.
