Wayde Van Niekerk’s strength and conditioning coach O'Bakeng Molopyane says a much anticipated race between Usain Bolt and the South African could happen within the next year. Van Niekerk shocked the world when he broke Michael Johnson’s 400m world record to win Olympic gold on the track and with Bolt bowing out of the sport after the 2017 World Championships, it’s a race the world wants to see.

Sportsworld’s John Bennett has been speaking to Molopyane and Van Niekerk’s first coach Ashley Field discovering how his talent was spotted, whether he can cope with the increased media spotlight and what next for the new star of track and field.
