China and US ratify Paris climate accord
We're much closer to activating the deal. Is this a new golden age?
Between them, China and the US are responsible for about 40% of the world's climate emissions. So the pair of them ratifying the Paris accord is a huge step towards putting the accord into effect. But did President Obama go too far when he said a few days later that this was the best time ever to be born?
