Uganda's 38 year jinx broken
Uganda qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time since 1978, ending the so called jinx and prompting wild celebrations from the 45,000 capacity crowd inside the ground, and on the streets outside.
18 year old Standard Liege midfielder Farouk Miya wrote his name into the history books by scoring the goal after 35 minutes that secured a famous 1-0 victory.
