Five years ago Lydia Haynes from St Albans was diagnosed with thyroid cancer aged just 16. It left her dreams of being a professional singer in tatters. She was even told she may never talk again. Since then, she has received treatment and her life is very different. Plus we heard from the father of a disabled daughter who says he dreaded watching the Paralympics.
