The Woman Breaking Convention at an Indian Crematorium
In India it is rare for a Hindu woman to go to a crematorium for the final rituals of her loved ones. But in the southern city of Chennai, 34-year-old Praveena Soloman actually manages one of the city's oldest and busiest cremation grounds. The 大象传媒's Geeta Pandey has been to meet her.
