Paralympic swimmer Jessica-Jane Applegate, from Norfolk, has claimed her second medal in Rio - a silver in the S14 200m freestyle.

Although "disappointed" to be narrowly beaten by team-mate Bethany Firth, mum Dawn said the Applegate family and friends were "elated" at the result.

Applegate was aiming to defend her Paralympic title, while Firth had already claimed a medal in Rio with gold in the S14 100m backstroke where Applegate won bronze.
