Flu Jabs, Police Body Cams & Coffee

Start your day with the latest news and updates, with Jim and Jo at breakfast.

Thousands of people - including some of the most vulnerable in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland - are putting their health at risk by not getting a flu jab. That's the view of health bosses who say that one in three eligible patients in our area aren't taking advantage of the free vaccine.

The use of body cameras by police officers has led to a huge drop in complaints made against them. That's according to a year long study of nearly 2,000 police officers. We go through the figures with Dr Barak Ariel, from the University of Cambridge Institute of Criminology.

Fancy a coffee? Well, it is National Coffee Day after all! Apparently 88 per cent of us in the UK are coffee drinkers and a third of us describe ourselves as coffee addicts. So, Jim and Jo dive into some Leicestershire-made coffee!
