Violent Clashes in 'Democratic' Chinese Village

Police have launched an operation in the Chinese village of Wukan, to end protests over the jailing of the elected village chief.

Police and protesters have clashed in a Chinese village noted for democratic reform. Ted Plafker is China correspondent for The Economist, has visited the village of Wukan, and explains the background to the dispute. Also in the programme, Ford says that it will have a driverless car on the market within five years.
