Jonnie Peacock: Paralympics 'not as bad as everyone made out'
Champion sprinter Jonnie Peacock says Rio put on a "great Games", despite negative media coverage before the Paralympics even began.
Prior to the Games budgets were slashed, partly down to poor ticket sales, which led to less competitions.
The Cambridgeshire athlete told 大象传媒 Radio 5 live he was most worried about the removal of the dedicated athletes' bus lanes, originally put in place for the Olympics.
But he said despite all that, "Rio seems to have soaken up the Paralympics", adding the crowds were "fantastic".
