Bernie Krause overcame a fear of animals to record natural sounds from all over the world
Bernie Krause is a "soundscape ecologist". He has recorded the natural sounds of more than 2,000 habitats around the world - from the Sumatran rainforest to the Sierra Nevada mountains. In the 1960s he was one of the pioneer performers of the Moog synthesiser.
