A former aid worker and journalist from Leicester who's worked in some of the poorest places in the world, been shot at, and who's even camped out in jungles, says he's never been as scared as when he found himself homeless. But today is the final day of Leicester City council's consultation into the future of services for the Homeless in the city.
Now we all know that Leicestershire is famous for its pork pies, crisps and stilton cheese, but business leaders in the County want politicians in London to know that that's not all we have to offer. This morning managing directors from a range of Leicestershire food and drink businesses are heading to the capital to showcase the diversity of products being made here.
Did you know that Taser is a brand name? The official term for the high powered electrical weapon is a conducted energy device or CED. They're used by the police to gain control of situations where extreme violence or weapons are being used. Jim Davis has been out to Leicestershire Police HQ to find out a little more.
