Nevermind at 25
A quarter of a century ago, on 24th September 1991, Nirvana released their influential second album - Nevermind.
Few could have predicted the impact the record would have (Geffen Records made an initial pressing of just 40,000 copies!) But it opened the door to a new sound that would dominate the Nineties, change the charts, and even the way we dressed.
Steve marks this terrifying passage of time, by dipping into the 大象传媒 archives to play a session track from 1989, and to hear about the making of the album from three men who made music history: Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and producer Butch Vig.
Steve (who did predict big things for the record in his NME review) also talks to another early fan, journalist Keith Cameron.
